Formulating nutritionally balanced diets (mixing silage, brans, corn, and supplements) that optimize milk production and control spending used to require manual spreadsheets and expensive technical consulting from veterinarians. Without real-time tracking and calculation, farmers suffered from wasted inputs or undernourished herds, eroding profit margins.
The Turning Point
SantaFé Agroinstituto saw the need for a digital tool accessible to small and medium farmers that would:
- Automate the mathematical formulation of diets
- Calculate feed efficiency (milk produced per kg of feed)
- Generate straightforward monthly financial reports
Yowpi designed and built the Nuleite micro-SaaS in partnership with SantaFé Agroinstituto, focusing on simplicity for the farmer and speed of deployment.
What was implemented:

→ An integrated nutritional calculator for entering ingredients (silage, brans) and adjusting quantities with dynamic sliders until the target is reached. -
Milk Production Panel
→ Daily monitoring of milk volume produced versus target, making it easy to calculate the productivity of lactating cows. -
Herd Financial Metrics
→ Comparison of diet cost versus milk revenue to show the farm's real profitability.
